-Can you please stop hammering? You're unleashing the wrath of the gods! Come on!
Come sit and help me finishing the mantle instead.
-Sorry, I had to hammer...
-Take a needle and the thread and help me
I was asked to deliver this mantle but it's not finished yet
We can do this until they...
Oh, they're already here!
Hi!
-Hi!
-We were waiting for you... but you've arrived a little too early
Anyhow, what do we do today?
-Let's talk about Thor
-Thor The Dark World
-A film directed by Alan Taylor and James Gunn with Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman and Tom Hiddleston
-This time we follow our hero, Thor, after the first movie and The Avengers
He's trying to restore order after the chaos brought on by his brother Loki on the seven worlds
This time, the bad guys are the dark elves that are trying to bring primordial darkness in the universe
-The movie starts very well, the are awesome scenes of epic battles that reminds us of Star Wars at times.
Unfortunately the movie becomes less and less meaningful, especially regarding the plot
The movie is entertaining but there a scenes that remain unexplained
-Yeah, the pace is broken by many gags which are pretty funny at the beginning, but they lack of variety and originality and become boring towards the end.
Like for instance those three gags, one after the other, during the battle to save of the universe, which are pretty bad...
-The characters are all well characterized, starting from Thor to professor Selvig, played by Stellan Skarsgard. Loki is great too, played by Tom Hiddleston who is a really great actor.
-Marvel asked to Brian Tyler to compose the soundtrack, the same guy who made the Iron Man 3 soundtrack
It sure is a good soundtrack, but it doesn't impress much.
You have suck at licking the hammer...
-This movie is not very original but we can't expect much more than explosions and a lot of visual effects from a Marvel movie
And also a shirtless Chris Hemsworth every 5 minutes
Still, it's better than the first Thor, maybe because they've got a new director.
-But it's all right, in fact the movie is entertaining and it's pretty fun and makes you almost forget the plot holes. Almost.
No, thanks... let's give it a score instead!
Mine is a 3.5 wigs out of 5
-Mine is a 3 out of 5
For a total of 3.25 wigs out of 5!
And now...
-It's finished
-Right! Let's deliver the mantle!
Oh no, that's right, trivia time!
In a scene in which Chris and Natalie have to kiss each other, the actress had to stand onto a small podium to reach Thor's mouth
What are you looking for?
-The needle, is somewhere on the sofa...
Anyway, in this movie, Thor defeats a monster made of rocks who is the first ever enemy in the comic books series from the '70s
-We're ready to deliver our mantle!!
-Very good! ...should we wear it?
There you go!
-Ha! I feel like a god!
-Nice mantle, nice hammer!
-Thank you!
But I guess they don't care, so let's say hello to them!
-See you soon guys!
-How does it work?
-Uhm... I have no idea
-Hammer?
