Welcome to my video on how to add an end credit animation to your video in
Windows Movie Maker. Ok now i've already added a video clip for the purpose of this video.
Now the video clip has been separated into several parts and the audio has
been added as a second track, and the original audio has been switched off.
Now it's really important that you do this if you want to replace parts of the content
of your video with something else but keep the original sound. If you don't
know how to add a second track to your video, a video clip is going to appear at
the bottom right hand corner of the screen for you to click on. So just click
that video, it's a very short video, just watch that and then come back to this video.
I have also included a link to the video within the description of this video. Now in
this video, I'm going to be replacing this clip at the very end of my video with an
end credit animation and I'm going to need to know the duration of this clip so I can
replace it with an animation for the same duration. So to do that i'm going to need
to bring down this bar to the beginning of the clip. Record the time of 130.03
So that's the start of the clip, I'm going to need to know the end of the clip as well. So the end of
the clip is 135.07. So I need to take 130.03 of 135.07 which will leave me with
5:04. So that will be 5.04, will be the time duration of this particular
video clip. Now to add my end credit animation, I need to go to 'Credits', now there are various
types I could select from. various templates, but I'm just going to select the basic
credits option. Now I need to enter my text into this field here. So I've
already created some text for my credit. I'm going to paste that into there and I'm just going to
adjust the spacing...
perfect!
Now there are various animations I can select from, so you can see these animations
here. That's a nice one... but I'm going to select the scroll option here, the classic
scroll end credit option. Now I'm going to change the background colour to this one here, I'm going to
change the text duration here, to what we discussed before... 5.04. I also need
to change the the clip here, the background clip, I need to change that
to 5.04 as well. I need to remove the clip that we had previously. So that
should now all be in sync. So I'm just going to take that to end here just to make
sure it runs through properly and i'm going to play that through just to confirm (Audio plays: This video...
