Wide availability of the broadband connections in the late nineties
opened up the possibility to see a desktop on the remote computer over the internet.
Back then, the connections could only be established inside a local area network
or when remote computers had public IP addresses.
In 2003, ISL Online introduced a fresh concept of desktop sharing
by setting up the first server application called ISL Conference Proxy.
The idea was simple.
Instead of trying to access a remote computer directly,
we let users connect through the ISL Conference Proxy
by using a unique session code.
This enabled users to establish a connections in seconds,
through any firewall or NAT proxy.
Once connected, they could see the remote desktop,
transfer files, communicate through chat or have a webconference.
Over the past 10 years,
ISL Online has set up more than 50 dedicated servers in datacenters all around the world.
All servers are now connected into the ISL Online Network,
which is based on cloud computing technologies.
The connection is always established through the nearest ISL Conference Proxy server available
and the distributed session roaming guarantees high realibility of the service.
You can also set ISL Conference Proxy on your own server
or even connect several servers into your private cloud.
That gains corporate users full independence and control over the system.
Today, the ISL Online Network facilitates 4 different types of services.
You are welcome to connect to the network and provide support to your clients,
access remote computers, chat with your website visitors
or hold an online meeting.
Keep your feet on the ground and communicate through the cloud.
