Let's start with base make up. Today I'm going to use a base, concealer and powder foundation from COVERMARK's Jusme Color line. *These products are only available in Japan*
I had a color test done the other day to figure out whether my skin is yellow based or blue based. (based- meaning undertone)
And it turned out that I was blue based, so I am going to use a concealer for blue based skin
and this is the particular foundation color in the range for blue based skin tones that suited my skin the best
with these, I am going to make a "no makeup" look
If you find out whether your skin is yellow based or blue based, it will help you out in many ways
I think you will start to get an idea of what colors suits you better for your eyes, cheeks and lips
Near the end of the video, I will put in footage of how the color testing was done so please take a look at that too
so, let's get started!
Apply make up base all over your face
As this base make up has sebum controlling properties and has a silky touch it is fine, however,
if you are using a base that is more dewy, if you lightly pat a tissue onto your face, it can prevent your makeup from moving and looking uneven
After that, apply concealer on the spots that are necessary
As it is a stick type, the consistency is fairly thick, so I warm up the product using my ring finger so that it blends in better with my skin
Next, the foundation. Here I am using the shade in BO 00
I like to apply the product from the centre of my face in a patting motion as sliding the product seems like it will create uneven coverage
I think it's easy to apply the product onto the eyes and around the nose if you use the corner of the sponge.
The color is really the perfect match and you can't tell where I have applied it and where I haven't
Lastly, I take a large face brush and brush off any excess powder while blending it in at the same time
Although the product itself gives off a very glowy look, by doing so I think it makes your skin look more translucent and natural looking
After base make up, let's move onto the brows!
As I want a natural look today, I am only doing to be using powder to fill in my brows
As I don't really have my length to my brows, I apply the product from the end of my brows and blend towards the front of my brows
Apply some brow mascara to make your brows look even more natural looking
Next, we're going to use a brown that blends in nicely with my skin tone
After applying eye primer, blend the brown shadow all over your lids and also apply to two thirds of your bottom lash line
Apply a light beige color onto your brow bone and blend away
I'm using a thin eyeliner pencil to line my lashes and to get in between my lashes
I think this widens up your eye even just with a single line so please try it out
Apply a darker brown on top of that and slightly smudge the liner
After that, apply mascara with lengthening properties to both top and bottom lashes for length
After that use a mascara with lengthening properties and apply to that to both top and bottom lashes
For your cheeks, use a cream type for a natural look. Apply it to the highest part of your cheek when you smile and blend
After that, lightly dust on a natural pink blush
Finish off with a colored lip balm, and the look is complete
So, now here's the footage of the base color testing! If you are interested, please watch till the end!
So, I'm going to apply the yellow, and blue type to see what color base you are
I'm surrounded!
I'm checking to see how much your pulse is influenced by the blue
I'm not looking at where I applied the product but the skin and the blood circulation around it
I think you already are leaning towards the blue based skin tone
Your complexion doesn't match well with the yellow base, so if you were to apply the yellow base, after a couple of hours your face would start to look yellow
So, I would be a blue base? Yes, I think you have beautiful blue based skin
I'm now going to ask which color out of the blue based foundations suits my skin tone the best
BO00 has blended in with your skin so well that you can't even tell if it is your skin or the product
This one (BN10) is a little dark isn't it? Yes, it is
I tried out all the foundation colors from the blue and yellow based range.
And as you can tell, most of the blue based foundation blends in better with my skin tone
Do you know what undertone color you have? It was very fun like a science experiment so if you are interested, why not give it a try?
Well, see you in my next video! Bye~!
