governor main Paula pages made clear as we told you that he hates the adults
main but what about the children turns out that he hates them to or at the very
least the things that the two lazy
need to get off their *** put down their 3ds and get a job
specifically speaking at an agricultural trade show he said
we don't allow children to work until they're sixteen
but two years later when the eighteen they go to war
and they fight for us now you might look at that
and think you know he's got a good point man they believe in working for two
years we already send them off to die in war
but that's not the point that he's trying to make you think that the war
part is great but he thinks the job part could use a month some work
that's causing damage to our economy I started working for /url far earlier
than that it didn't hurt me at all
there's nothing wrong with being a paper boy twelve-years-old
or to store sorting bottles at 12 years old his examples of modern jobs
as paper boy and sorting bottles I'm what
year's best again but and bear in mind
at he's talking about how they don't work he said that about 47 percent
available able-bodied people the state of Maine
don't work I don't know fees including children that but either case
it's false now governor main saying
that these sixteen-year-olds have it too easy 14 12 years old they should be
working
now I started working as a busboy last 14
so I actually fit into the group I'm you know the old school Americans who worked
a little bit earlier
I I thought it was a great job because I mostly just that talk to the older
waitresses and made a little bit of money
under the table but for the average American look at that point I had
already been say like reading for fun
I knew what was going on in school like I was on path to at least be a mediocre
student
but think about the average twelve-year-old in Maine or across
america
he has given up on them he thinks forget schooling them for getting point forget
putting money as we get to the second hour
into buying more resources for the kids in school let's just ship the mall so
they can sort bottles
let's have them fill their time with something that even the most basic
robot at this point must be able to do paper boy
nobody even by his papers anymore man and he's like they're not gonna be
employed with refreshing the Huffington Post for people
but in the time when we are slipping farther and farther behind
other industrialized in some cases not even industrialized countries around the
world
his solution is for them to do more meal labor
or manual labor in some cases I don't think that that's the route that we need
to take for the future of America
I recently read a book by Carl Sagan and he talked about how sad it was
that we have taken out any sense of wonder from america's children
that when we do try to get them to learn the only form at work of trouble with
them learning in
is what will be tested for standardized tests memorizes many facts as possible
don't wonder
about what's going on don't be imaginative don't question
anything and is it any wonder this is a Republican after all
the type of kid who might question the things he sees around him I grew up to
be the dole
who looks at that terrible state the american government and mites are
questioning ship there too
or he might look at Wall Street to Wall Street have a few questions for them
let's not train them to question those in power let's train them to sort
bottles
okay he's a governor I'm just the guy on the internet talking
so perhaps he knows a lot more about this than me but I think that I'm
slightly higher standards for america
than he does
