Hello, I'm Jason del Argo for the SilverFish Home Publishing Company
here to show you how to use TRACING TEMPLATES
you will need 3 things:
a sharpened pencil
a fine tip black marker
and tracing paper.
Once you have these things
the only thing you need
is the official SilverFish Home Publishing Company
TRACING TEMPLATES for Drawing the Impossible.
With these four pages used as templates
you can get started
Begin with page one and select the posture you want to use.
Place the tracing paper over the template and begin tracing all the detail.
You're beginning
image should look like this
Turn the page over and select the type of clothing you want to add
use the dotted lines to distinguish between shorts dresses skirts and pants.
I've chosen an ankle high
dress that looks like this.
you can use
furled material on both sides or on one side but in this image
for this character i decided to use two.
Then you move on to hands and feet
Move the tracing paper with the character around
to choose the
arm position and hand
image you want to use
I've selected
a back-hand grab that looks like this.
I've also added opera gloves to the arms
and they look like this.
Then I went back and
reinforced the details for the shoes
i selected
the hair for my character
and then I erased the outline of the head from the previous image
my character looks like this at this stage
Then I went on to build
the character's face
I chose
that outline of the face from the top list
but then i chose the eye detail from lower on the list.
Now i have a complete character image
the next step before print
is to outline the image
darker using the pencil then I go over the darkened pencil
with a black marker.
Once the black marker outline is complete
I erase all the pencil detail from underneath
the blackened outline.
This is my final
character image.
Turn the image over and label it
date it and sign it.
now this image is ready to be duplicated.
now i can color the images of the character anyway i would like
if i mess up or don't like the image i i've created
i move on to the next photo copy
I can also change the style of dress. Here I've chose a polka dot design
but then i decided to add a flame
type of detail to the dress.
Now I move on to page
six and seven to add
any kind of accessories
but since her hands are busy holding her dress i'll move on to scenery.
Notice the series of
stage lights
reduces in size as the images get farther.
I can always change the scenery in the background
anyway i wish to add
cacti
palm trees rocks or an ocean setting.
