Hi, this is our chart of how you mix the primary and secondary colors and as you can see we
used one six colors but we have 24 colors here. Now, one important tip to learn is that
if I am going to mix, I have painted with red and green with say red geraniums and green
leaves and I want my reds to be this color then I know, because these follow across this
way as far as hue and value is concerned. These follow across this way and I know that
this is the green that I want to use, I don't want to use the green down here. If I'm going
to use this color here then I'm going to want to use this green here. If I'm doing an autumn
painting and I want to use this fall yellow, warm yellow here I'm going to want to use
this green here and not this cooler, brighter spring green up there. This is just a sample
of what you can do using just the six complimentary colors. Stay tuned for our next segment on
how to introduce other colors into your painting
