The idea behind La Folie Douce came from the mountains,
in the high altitude restaurants at 2,400 metres.
In our restaurants we offer a cabaret performance
through to early afternoon, followed by a clubbing spree
to get our clients dancing until 5pm.
All our establishments close at 5pm.
La Folie Douce began in Val d'Isère,
but we also have a restaurant in Val Thorens and Méribel,
and in 2014 we will be opening one in the Alpe d'Huez.
We will then moving to Switzerland and resorts in the Pyrenees.
Skiing has changed over the past few years.
The ski lifts are more efficient,
many clients stop skiing around 1pm or 2pm,
they want to eat and have an entertaining afternoon.
Our musical concept allows them to relax until 5pm.
In the mountains, partying is served chilled!
In terms of clubbing, we can go up to 100 decibels,
which is only possible in the mountains so as not to disturb others. Where our establishments are, we won't be bothering anyone.
We have created a partnership with Lyon-Saint Exupéry airport
because they offer very quick access for passengers on chartered flights,
who are going to resorts by bus or shuttle.
There is a very short time between the moment they get off the plane and their arrival in Val d'Isère, Méribel or Val Thorens.
This partnership is greatly dependent on the presence of hostesses, but also on the circulation of images in the airport terminals,
as we are partners of the French Snowboard Team
and we show pictures of "La Folie Douce" team's antics.
