Hey! I'm posting this video a little late but I've been very busy here recently
and I didn't make it all on time.
And now you probably hear April's toys in the background!
This time I'm posting what's supposed to be here today - what April eats in a day.
I know you like watching her so I added some more clips with her this time.
In the morning Nate gave her some watermelon juice
which was just blended watermelon.
And then she got one mango.
Later she got half of an avocado.
It was her first food when we started solids at 6 months of age.
Like a lot of people noticed, April eats with hands and often sitting on the floor
for several reasons.
For example, I want her to learn shapes, smells, appearance and texture of what she eats.
Her manual skills are developing when she uses her hands
so I rarely feed her with spoon or fork.
Also it happens that she doesn't want to sit in her highchair
and she prefers being on the floor. I'll write a post about it soon.
Next, I made her a smoothie and I made too much, as always, so we had some leftovers for the evening.
You can see all the ingredients on the screen,
there are hemp seeds and spirulina in the small bowl.
Later I gave her papaya, some blueberries and a few pieces of cucumber.
She ate almost everything and enjoyed it.
A lot of people don't realize how healthy cucumbers are.
They contain mainly water so they hydrate you and help with digestion.
Thanks to plant stanols in them, cucumbers lower levels of so-called bad cholesterol.
They also have strong antioxidants which prevent DNA damages
so they lower risk of getting cancers and many, many more.
For snack she got some mango and grape tomatoes.
She ate all of it so I cut some more grape tomatoes and added the rest of avocado she had in the morning
in case she wanted to eat more.
For supper she had the rest of the smoothie you saw before and she almost finished it.
That's all for today, I hope you enjoyed. I'll see you next time!
