Hi, in this segment we're going to talk about sets. And what a set means is, is that you're
trying to set the disc to a catch or to your next move. So there are a lot of different
ways that you can do that. We already went over the center delays which you can set that
up into a different type of a move but there are a lot of different ways you can do it,
too. One of the ways is what we call a tip set. So if you have a delay and then what
a tip set would be is tip it to set it to a catch. You can also do a tip set with your
foot, tip set to a behind the back catch. You can also do it with your hand to pass
it to somebody else. But basically a set is whenever you set the disc into the air, that's
why they call it a set, you're setting it up and you're allowing it to come down. Now
the important thing with a set is, again always face the wind and also a set needs to have
a little bit of angle coming back to you or very flat. If it has angle going away from
you, it's going to be very, very, difficult to catch it. So whenever you're doing your
sets even if it's a straight set, kick set, whatever delay set. Make sure that angle is
here and it's coming back to you so you can make your trick catches.
