hey guys so I'm on my way to either the home depot or lowes depending on who has
the cheapest mulch now the weather forecaster man those guys be there lying
they lied on they lie instead it was supposed to stop raining midday here it
is 11 o'clock well you know yeah it's not really midday but it is coming down
worse so now the ground is soggy and if you guys know it takes a little bit
longer for it to dry up because it's still you know that winter ish weather
as you can tell it's cooler today is like in the 55 so it's that that's cold
for us so uh yeah let's see yeah who's cheaper alright guys so I guess Lowe's
is cheaper because they have them five bags for ten bucks
so I just come back in pick up some hold on guess I'll go inside and see only the
red ones
hey guys so a lot of my compadres on YouTube are asking the question bag
mulch versus bulk mulch so let me give you my opinion the way I do it full
disclosure is I charge $100 per cubic yard of mulch installed simple as that
so as we all know thirteen point five bags of mulch equals one cubic yard so
on average if I'm using bags then I'll charge seven dollars and seventy cents
per bag installed in the only way that I lose money is depending on went about
the mulch usually in springtime gonna buy the bag mulch and the Home Depot or
Lowe's or from one of my providers they usually have a sale where you can get a
lot for less so I usually buy Palin because on
average we don't well me myself I don't install a lot of mulch if you can tell
my money makers pass through so on average if I install five cubic yards of
mulch in a year that's a lot I know you're probably going
yeah that's with me it is a lot but in a cubic yard of mulch on average around
here you're looking at between 25 to 35 bucks you know depending on color type
of mulch all that good stuff so yeah it depends on the job that you're doing for
me for instance the job that I'm going back to finish I have a couple of more
bags to put down so why not just grab bags and do it it eliminates me from
having to go to the quarry and have them put the one cubic yard of mulch and
putting it in a wheelbarrow and taking it all the way in the back and then
scooping it back out where I can just grab a bag and put it in there yeah I'm
gonna lose a little bit of money but it's not a lot to that extent so again
depending on the job big jobs yes and make sense little jobs it doesn't make
sense to me and it's all about how you price it
all right so that's it hi guys it's extremely windy and it's
about to rain again so I want to show you real quick here it is I went ahead
and finished the job because it's raining off and on I found out of the
window so I decided to come out and see how wet it is I decided to come out by
myself and this finish up the job
so I don't want to fill myself boring boring tasks okay and I personally don't
watch but time so you can see the whole thing
