iBinder Construction Projects
I will be showing you how to create a new binder for construction projects.
When I log in, I'’m presented with my personal bookshelf.
Here is my personal binder with my personal information.
These dots below are four bookshelves.
These are currently empty.
To the right is the menu with all the functions.
I can create new binders and order printed drawings using this notepad.
In this case I want to create a new project binder.
I enter the name and description of the project.
The project starts today, in demo mode and I choose a yellow binder.
In a new binder you will have an almost empty index.
There is only a tab for the project participants, where I will be listed as administrator, since I created the binder.
From the index tab I choose the tabs I want to use in my project.
In this case I choose for instance contracts, descriptions-
-economy, messaging, minutes and drawings.
The people I invite to this binder can see everything, except for contracts and economy.
This lock means that I have to unlock this tab for the people that will have access to it.
I confirm my choices and the structure is created.
The next step is to invite the participants of the project.
I open the participants tab and search for the people to join my project.
First up is Bosse….
When I click Bosse’s name he is added to the list.
I also invite Kajsa.
She is the architect.
If a person is not found, I can invite him or her using the email address.
I click the button on the right and enter the address.
Bosse and Kajsa now have the right to see everything in the binder.
If I want them to be able to store information, I have to add a discipline to them.
Kajsa will be the Architect.
I check the box by her name and then choose Architecture.
Bosse will be working with Electricity.
These disciplines are then used in some of the tabs.
Under Drawings I can see that Kajsa has her folder for Architecture and Bosse for Electricity.
That’s how simple it is to start a new project binder.
