>> VeLL: So I want to start by saying thanks again for all the love you showed on my last
tips and tricks video. That video is also over 200 likes and it's
mind blowing. I've never had two videos get so
many likes that fast not that I can remember. So I really want to thank you for the support.
Because you all keep working with me and showing me you enjoy the content I'm going to keep
dropping the content quickly. Todays goal is 100 likes
again, let's see if we can smash the goal 3 of my tips and tricks
videos in a row.
I have uploaded another tips and tricks video in between but that one was from the homie
MaGic so we not counting that one. We are talking about all
the love you all show me.
Very quickly I also want to ask you all to please support other content you see from
me as well. I've started a new series called story time where
I actually let you all get to know me more. Please support
that as well. I don't want to be limited to the tips and tricks guy.
I love helping you all so help me out too by actually getting to know what I've gone
through that turned me into the person you all chose to support.
I'll link my first story time in the description please
show that some love also and another one will be coming soon.
Aside from the story times, I'll be having more content which I think will be really
good content so please stick around and show love for more than the
tips and tricks that way I won't feel so limited to tips
and I can actually be creative and have fun entertaining you all with new content.
But let's get into the topic you all really came to see which is How to Improve your UMG
and GB record. I know this may seem pretty difficult trust
me I really do understand. Advanced Warfare I was teaming
with a team I had for a few years and we rarely ever loss in that game.
Black Ops 3, I had a whole new team and we had a negative record. It's a struggle going
from winning all the time, to losing just as much sometimes
more. It's important that you understand why you're losing
in order to improve your records.
The biggest reason we were losing as a team is because we all had nothing but individual
skill. We all lacked serious experience competing in this
game which means we lacked game knowledge, we lacked team
chemistry, and we lacked call outs.
Because we had none of these things we really stood no chance from the start, but I understood
why we were losing and why we were in the position we
were in. Call outs are huge because if you can successful help
your team know where ever single player is at all times, you all will always be ready
for them.
When it comes to communicating, call outs are like having the mini map radar on at all
times. Thats why when you have a team that doesnt call out
against a team that does it's really not even fair because
the team thats calling out will always be in a better position to be successful.
Game knowledge is another big deal because thats understanding the spawns, and understanding
the most used routes as well as mechanics that can
get people across the map faster. It's literally knowing
everything about the game so nothing catches you off guard.
I don't play the game enough to have that deep of an understand to be honest. I've said
this in one of my other videos, but I'm not a huge fan of
black ops 3. I'm pretty good at the game still, but I'll be
much more excited when the next call of duty is here.
Someone really studying the ins and outs of this game knows everything about it and if
your team truly understands everything and utilizes it, you'll
have a huge advantage. Then there is finally team chemistry.
I'll be honest and say, most of my success in gaming has come from chemistry which is
why I stress just how powerful it is. Our team started off not
so good many years ago. We played together so much and we
were such good friends that we eventually learned each other fully.
We could work well together without call outs, without game knowledge or anything. We have
never been big on calling out, we have never studied cheap
spots and stuff like that. Back when we were destroying we
lived strictly by chemistry and hard work and we rarely lost.
If we had all 3 we probably would have been one of the best, but I just wanted to speak
on how powerful team chemistry alone can be. But that being
said, my old team had chemistry and only chemistry. The new
team I had in Black Ops 3 really had none of them.
We all had individual skill which doesn't always translate over into working well together.
It was actually like oil and water me teaming with them. I'm
one of the most aggressive rushers in the game and no body
I teamed with is the same way.
I'm successful because everyone in competitive likes to take things slow. No one expects
some idiot like me to do the obvious rush right in their faces
the second the game starts so I start off taking out
people which sets the pace for the game.
The styles were just to different, so that's why we had a bad record. A few of you watched
us on stream a few times and I'd run out and die and it
would look like I just got a lot worse. In reality, It's not
that I got worse its the fact that my old team was a better match for me.
When I ran out like an idiot with my old team, Ask Feds wiped out anyone long range who could
hit me before I got in close. Then if someone was
trying to blind side me, nicole and titanz had that handled
because we all moved fast.
With the team I had now, I'd run out and get hit across map by an AR, or run into a triple
team and I'd be surrounded with no help because everyone
was waiting back and not really aggresively challenging. It
takes a different type of player to work with my style.
So understanding the flaws you and your team have is the key to improving your record.
You have to know if the players you're playing with just arent
a good fit for your style. I knew from the start I was teaming
with the wrong players, but I don't believe I'll ever find a team like my old one so I
didn't care.
Those of you seriously going for that main stage it's crucial that you do care and get
players that fit with your style. If you play slow, it would
be stupid trying to team with someone like me obviously. So
really be selective when it comes to the people you team with.
The final piece of advice I wanna give you which is the most important piece. Embrace
the loss. You need to appreciate losing. Don't get mad because
your record is bad because everyone has had a bad record at
one point or another. Take the L's until you get better than make a new team.
It's ok if you're 5 and 40. I know you think I'm just being nice, but no thats really ok.
As long as you are learning. Eventually you'll get to the
point where you fix all the problems thats been making your
team lose, and youll start bringing that record back.
If you start off 5 and 40, then you get to about 30 and 50, you'll know you've got a
lot better and at that point you should make a new team to see
how better your record will be. Instead of starting off
at 5 and 40 again youll probably be more like 20 and 5. Thats how it's supposed to be.
An amazing record doesn't happen over night. Keep working hard for that record, if you
don't like how it's looking, every time you get better disband
your old team and make a new one to get that fresh
record.
I promise if you stick with it, eventually you'll get that record you really want. I
hope you really take what I've said to heart and just work
hard for your dreams. It's possible, just don't expect it
to be fast or easy.
Put your heart and effort into it, and the success will come. If you're new, make sure
you subscribe for more content. Please hit that like button
so we can get to our goal of 100 likes on this video and
I'll catch you all on the next one.
Thanks for watching. AMF. It's ya Boy VeLL. Peace.
