Hello brethren! I wanted to talk a little bit about why God didn't force us, His creation,
to love Him. If only God had done this there wouldn't be so much disaster in the world,
right? When asking this question, I think a lot of people overlook the gift involved
here. The most glorious gift God could have bestowed upon all mankind, that being the
gift of freewill. The freedom to make choices as we please. Even if that means making the
choice to, dare I say, HATE GOD. Yet He still gave us this gift. So you might ask, "shouldn't
we then, blame God for all the chaos and disaster that has come upon us". The answer is no.
God is the REASON why mankind has fallen from grace (notice how I said reason, not blame)
God is the REASON why mankind has fallen from grace but we cannot blame him for the choices
we make. Free will, again, is a gift from God. When we choose to fall out of that grace
it is not God's fault, it is our own. We are not victims of circumstance, we orchestrate
our own demise. If I deploy a nuke on a country for no reason, in which they retaliate with
5 nukes of their own, it is my own fault why we just got obliterated.
God wanted his creation to choose to love him, by choice, you know, by our own freewill.
He could have created us as programmed robots and force us to artificially love him, which
again, wouldn't be love at all. Make no mistake that God doesn't need our love, he WANTS our
love. He doesn't need us, He WANTS us. He wanted a family. When a couple marry, and
love each other, and decide to have children, do you think they do so that they can have
extra people to clean the dishes, or to mow the lawn? No! Far from it! They do it to increase
their circle of love! We were made for the sole purpose of being loved by God.
And If you struggle with thoughts on how you don't love God enough, or how you could love
Him more, the problem isn't that you don't love Him enough or that you're loving Him
the wrong way. The problem is that you don't understand how much he loves you. And once
you understand that, that's when you develop an attitude to love Him, and to love Him all
the more by loving other people. And you become a shining light, in which others see you and
begin to look into who this God really is. And yet despite our stupid choices, God not
only doesn't violate his gift of free will, which could be considered another gift on
it's own. A gift within a gift? Inception? God not only doesn't violate his gift of free
will, but He ALSO grants us freedom from sin through the death of His Son? No price tag
can be placed on those two gifts, not one. What we choose to do with this treasure is
up to us, not Him. I hope this video gave you some clearer insight into seeing just
how much God really loves you. Thanks for watching. God Bless!
