For this video I suggest that you use headphones so you can clearly listen to the low frequencies
The Bass Drum I want to make sounds something like this
I'm going to start with a basic tone
And I'm going to use a sine waveform
the amplitude's envelope should start pretty much immediately
and go down slowly
and after a second I'm just going to make it zero
just so It doesn't go on forever
The pitch should start pretty high
then go down pretty fast
then a little bit slower
and then slower, until it gets to the final pitch, which should be a pretty low frequency
So that already sounds like a Bass Drum, but I'm going to add a couple of things
A short noise a the beginning of the sound to make the attack more clear
And then a little bit of distortion
And then I'm going to play with the different levels until I get a sound that I like
So that's a
pretty good Bass Drum sound, but of course I can keep tweaking it
I can play with the pitch envelope
or I could add another oscillator
or change the waveform
and so on
So that's it for this quick tutorial video, thanks for watching and I hope you learned
something
