Did your life flash before your eyes yesterday morning?
Did it make you think about your bucket list? Well,
if attending a polytechnic university was on your bucket list, you're in luck. One
of the two polytechnic institutions in the state will be visiting campus today from 9:30
to 1:30. A rep from Cal Poly Pomona will be eagerly awaiting your arrival in L-110, to
talk about their campus's diamond anniversary...AND any transfer questions you might have.
For those of you that are thinking, "transfer?" What in tarnation is that about? Well, we've
got jut the thing. L-110, otherwise known as the "Transfer Center," will be hosting a "How to Transfer"
workshop today from 12 to 12:30.
It's time for the PCC Sportsbeat:
Our Lancer baseball team hopes to break their ten game losing skid today, in the first of
a 3 game match-up, against the Vikings of Long Beach College at 2:30, in the friendly
confines of Brookside Park's, Jackie Robinson Memorial Field. Our Soft-ballahs, fresh off
of a one-run heartbreaker against Moorpark, HEAD to the LBC to take on Long Beach College at 3.
So, stop on by if you're in the area.
Hey all you PCC singers, musicians, and DJ's. Have you ever wanted to perform on the radio?
Well, here's your chance. The PCC Music Showcase wants YOU to perform LIVE on the
Lancer Radio Network. That's right, the PCC Music Showcase will be featuring the musical
talents of ANY PCC student, faculty, staff, or administration, and alumni of Pasadena
City College. All you need to do is submit your request to the show. Just go to
facebook.com/lancerradio and let them know you're ready to rock...or riff.
