Being able to bring all those different business aspects together
on the course and develop my understanding and help me
to look at things both from a strategic and an operational point of view.
I've learnt a lot of things - a transferable change like
presentation skills like
organising, time management.
Instead of just having lectures we also had tutorials
and there was the opportunity for discussion
which actually enabled me to learn a lot from my peers.
I think the thing that stood out to me
about the University of Wolverhampton is probably all the facilities that they have
like they have a a library that's outstanding
with I'll a lot of state-of-the-art computers.
The students that I study with on my course,
being a part-time course, there's a lot of people who work full-time,
and that the variety
of businesses they come from has been really beneficial in
understanding who everybody within their different sectors work.
As well as being able to speak to the academics after lecture
you can always make an appointment to see them
at another time when they're free.
It's helped me to understand how the other areas of business function
so for example, I have to liaise with the Human Resources department,
liaise with the Marketing department and through this course I now understand
much better what their roles are
in helping me to do my role.
The University has very good support and advice available
all the time for the international students, even for the home students,
and the University do international festivals
and the different cultural events
to familiarise the students from different communities. I didn't really
find that difficult to get adjusted here
and to do my Master's.
