Hi guys, today we're going to be working on this Purple Swirl Water Marble.
And
I think this is my first water marble of the year, I don't think I've done one
since before Christmas;
and it's been even longer than that since I've done a swirl design.
So, after a little bit of experimenting I decided to go with these colors.
All three are from the Revlon Top Speed line.
And I believe I got all three of these at Big Lots.
The white is called Stone Wash.
This lavender is called Lily.
And this darker purple is called Grape.
So, I'm just going to
finish off my bull's eye with one more drop of polish there.
And then I'm going to start out
by drawing
a pinwheel design.
And that's just going to help to add some more detail
when I get to drawing the spiral.
Like I think I mentioned in one of my other videos, the more
lines you draw before you do your spiral,
the more detail your spiral's going to have.
And then, as always just try to go with a very light touch.
And circle into the middle.
Give it a little dip, to get rid of that goober that builds up.
I have my nail prepped with a coat of Stone Wash.
And I'm just going to
line up in there.
Aiming the sprial for the center of my nail,
and
dip in like that.
I'm going to reach in with my orange stick,
just start cleaning up that polish.
And
once I've got the surface of the water clear,
go ahead and pull my nail out.
And there's the spiral design.
So, this didn't turn out exactly as I had intended,
I got a little bit more
bleeding between the colors than showed up in my testing,
but I still really like how it turned out.
As you guys know purple is my favorite color,
so I think I'm really going to enjoy wearing this.
Be sure to let me know what you think
down in the comments.
And as always
thanks for watching =)
