United Nations aids countries in need. The United Nations Central Emergency Response
Fund (CERF) is allocating US$41 million in donations to nine countries for humanitarian
projects that assist in improving and stabilizing lives. Funds of US$8 million each are being
distributed to the African countries of Chad and the Democratic Republic of Congo, while
US$7 million is going to Yemen, US$5 million to North Korea, US$2 million for Nepal and
US$3 million each for the Central African Republic, Djibouti and Eritrea. The monies
are being allocated through local agencies to projects intended to help restore self-sufficiency
to residents following natural disaster or conflict.
Heaven bless United Nations for your thoughtful assistance to the vulnerable. May such meaningful
care uplift the quality of life for many across the globe
