Hi. This is Scooter Happy Feet. That's not really my name, it's Scott. For
the purpose of this, I wanted to show you quickly how to start a return at
RealTruck. Of course, we are sorry that you need to return something, but
we want to make it as easy and painless as possible.
You would go to the RealTruck homepage, then click on the Customer Service
link on the top center, then click on the Return form link on the right
side of that. Enter your name, Scooter Happy Feet, and then I can enter my
order number or other information, such as city, state, ZIP, email address,
or phone number. At that point, I can click Next and it will pull up my
orders, and I'll go ahead and select my last order, and click Next. Then I
will go ahead and select which part I want to return. I'm going to select
the CYC Raptor Nerf Bars.
Then I would pick a reason; it could be because I changed my mind, it could
be a fitment or a quality issue, it could be a gift that I didn't want, it
could also be, if my item was damaged in shipping, and I can report that,
or if it's a lost package. Again, for shipping damage or a lost package,
what we'll do is facilitate an enquiry with the shipper, UPS or Fed-EX, to
try to track down that package, or to pick up the damaged package and
arrange to get you a new item shipped. In the case of . . . or of course,
my last reason I can select is Other, and put in another reason.
If it is a warrantee reason, oftentimes, what we'll do with warrantees,
we'll facilitate the warrantee with the manufacturer. Warrantee is a policy
of the manufacturer, and oftentimes, they prefer to handle it directly with
the customer, which would be you. We would act as the middle liaison
between you and the manufacturer to facilitate that warrantee claim
process.
Anyway, I'm going to go ahead and put that I changed my mind, and I'm going
to put that I decided not to keep it. Keep in mind that with returns, we
try to be as helpful and expedient as possible for returns, and returns
must be returned in new condition in their original packaging to help speed
up that process. Also, it asks me to enter the part number, which is often
the same part number that was ordered. Then I can put what I'd like to do:
If I'd like to return the item, if I'd like a replacement set of the same
thing, if I'd like to exchange it for a different item or the same item for
a different vehicle application; for example, if I want the product but it
doesn't fit, or I'd like a RealTruck gift card refund. If there's no refund
or replacement necessary, i.e., in the case of a missing part.
I'm going to put I'd like a refund. Then I can put in my vehicle
information, and of course, the more information you can provide about your
vehicle, should it be a fitment issue, the better it is for us. Of course,
any additional information that you want to put about your vehicle; that
it's a crew cab with a 6.0-liter engine. Again depending on what product,
more information's always helpful. Of course, you can also upload a
picture. In the case of if it was shipping damage or a warrantee, where you
had a rusty Nerf Bar, if you did have a photo, again, that can oftentimes
speed up the return process.
I'm going to just quickly find a cool picture here, to put. We'll just take
that picture, and I'll start the upload. Of course, it uploaded the image
there, and then I can acknowledge that I understand the Return Policy, and
voila, Create the Return. At this point, you'll get return instructions.
Keep in mind, we ship different products from various warehouses, so what
we'll do is contact the original shipping warehouse to get our RA Number,
and we will pass that information on to you, along with complete return
instructions. We are, of course, trying to, and want to, process your
return as quickly as possible.
