Hi again, I'm Jennifer Karl welcome to my makeup show on behalf of Expert Village. Now
I'm going to demonstrate false eyelashes. False eyelashes are fabulous but they can
be a little scary if you don't know how to put them on. You also have to be very patient,
that is my tip of the day "Be very patient," "Be very study" and eventually with practice
you would know how to do a perfect false eyelash. Now I'm going to use DUO glue with my eyelashes.
There are many different types of eyelash glue I like this one cause it is water soluble
and so if you make a mistake all you got to do is add a little of water and if you want
your eyelashes off easily they pull off easy without a lot of tugging to your natural eyelashes.
You can get DUO, Mac, a lot of the makeup stores carry it. So a little bit of glue goes
a long way also. What I usually do, I'm doing a whole lash right now is I just use the end
of the tube to make sure it does not have any glue or anything on it and it is completely
clean. You want to take your brand new lash, the edge of it and make sure there is no glue
or anything on that as well. A tiny bit of glue just along the edge. Now you want to
make sure you measure your lash also before you do this to your eye just to make sure
you don't have to cut it. You may have to cut it on either end if you have smaller eyes.
She has beautiful big eyes so I know I don't have to cut her eyelashes or her false eyelashes.
Now I'm just going to let it get tacky, the glue for a few seconds just so when I put
it on her lash it is going to inhere pretty well. Now you want to look down, do not close
your eyes. If you close your eyes it is going to change the shape of your eyes so you want
to just look down and you want to put the eyelash as close to the lash line as possible.
It is basically going to sit on top of your natural lashes. I just like to press in the corners a little
bit just to make sure it is sticking well. (Look at me, look down) You want to be very,
very gentle cause your eye area is sensitive. I use a pretty natural lash, these are the
lashes I use on most of my clients. I just did makeup for the Miss Fitness California
Pageant and all the girls wore these types of lashes. They are good for natural, they
are good for stage. You can funk them up a little bit, you just don't want to get lashes
that are too big so you can look like a drag queen. That is not the look that you want
to go for and that a false eyelash.
