How to restore an Axis camera to the default server settings.
If you are having problems adding an Axis camera to Stratocast, please start with the first troubleshooting step, pinging the Axis dispatch servers.
The last step is to try to restore the camera’s default server settings.
To do this, open a web browser and connect to the camera.
Use your username to log on, and the OAK or owner authentication key as the password.
Go into the Setup section, then go to System Options, and finally Maintenance.
In the Maintain Server field, click on the Restore button to reset all parameters to the original factory default settings.
The camera may reboot, if you get disconnected, try to reconnect in a few minutes.
In case you are using a static IP address, go to the Setup section, go under System Options, then Network, TCP/IP, and finally Advanced. You may have to re-enter the DNS server address.
Try to delete the camera and add it to Stratocast again. If the camera still will not go to a “connected” state, please contact the Stratocast support team for more assistance.
