There are two ways tents end.
Okay
This particular tent
has a type of lace line
where you go down three
loops from the bottom.
This is your tie off.
Many tents will take you all the way to the end before you do your tie off.
What you need to look for to determine the difference in the tents
is the length of the lace. You can see here. This one is much longer
than this one.
This is your tie off lace.
So, what if you are lacing a tent together and you get to that long lace and it is not at the end?
What should you do?
Stop working right there.
You need to start at the bottom
and work back up toward that long lace.
In other words, we are going to start at the bottom
and work this way
and place this through here. I have two loops on the long loop.
Then, you take this one,
underneath this one, then back through the area
you just came through.
Tie a knot. When you are lacing,
please keep in mind, you need to tear down later.
You do not need to go crazy with this. Just make a simple
knot. One knot on each side of the loop
and you will be fine.
