Hi, this is Shiloe with Style United.
Today I'm gonna show you how to do makeup for any hair color.
For darker brunette or for black hair, typically, with that
type of hair color comes a darker eye color as well.
What I would suggest is playing up your eyes.
It's easy to go for any sort of intensity or any sort of shade.
For a bolder look, try CoverGirl's 3-Kit
Eyeshadow Enhancers.
To go along with your bold eyeshadow, I would suggest
also going for a strong, bold lash as well.
Use CoverGirl's Lashblast Fusion in Very Black.
To complement your darker hair color and complexion,
what I would suggest is to try either a red tone or a plum tone
lip color such as CoverGirl's Outlast Smoothwear
in Brazen Raisin.
For medium brunettes, you may need to match your skin tone
and your eye color to your eyeshadow.
What I would suggest to start off with is using
CoverGirl Exact Eyelights in Vibrant Browns.
These are expertly designed to match and enhance
your brown eye color.
It's very easy to use.
The instructions of how to apply are on the back.
Going from the lightest shade to the darker shade.
It even includes its own brush.
To further enhance your complexion, what I would suggest
is using a light bronzer just everywhere where the sun hits
including your jawline, the neckline, your forehead,
and possibly even your nose, as long it's just a touch.
For this I would recommend CoverGirl's Cheekers Bronzer
in Golden Tan.
For the lips, I would suggest lining your lips first
with just a nude lipliner such as CoverGirl's
LipPerfection Lipliner in Seduce.
To apply lipliner, you're gonna start from the center of your
lips, lightly sketch it up to the corners on either side
and going from the bottom lip to the top lip.
When you get to the top lip, it's very important for a more
round look or a more fuller lip, you're gonna start from
the bottom, work your way up through the cupid's bow,
on the other side working up to the cupid's bow.
To finish off the look, what I would suggest is applying
a clear gloss over the lips and to smooth out any harsh edges
of the lipliner.
Use CoverGirl's Shineblast in Clear to achieve that look.
For all you redheads out there, it is okay to switch up
your eyeshadow color.
You can switch it up with either a neutral tone
or even a light green tone if you wish.
What I would try is CoverGirl's Exact Eyelights
in Majestic Hazels.
It offers the perfect palette for your dark or medium shades,
your two neutral shades as well as your green shade in there.
For a more dramatic and intense look you can still stay within
that color range as the Exact Eyelights palette.
What I would suggest is try maybe a deeper palette
such as the 4-Kit in Dynamite Drama.
As you can see, it still offers deeper hues that you can apply
as you wish, maybe in a cat eye effect to play those eyes up.
Lastly, to finish off the look, to complement your bold eyes,
I would suggest going with a more nude lip color.
What I would like to present is CoverGirl's Wetslicks Lipgloss
and this is in Shimmer Shell.
It is very moisturizing to the skin and it smells great
and it'll also help complement not only your bold eyes,
but also your complexion and your lovely locks.
If you're a Goldie Locks blonde, it's always great to apply
a bronzer since blonde hair can typically
wash your complexion out.
Always want to pick a good bronzer, again, applying it
wherever the sun hits to get that golden goddess look.
As far as eyeshadow colors, I would stick to something
a little bit more natural, but still having a little bit
of a shimmer to it.
What I would suggest is in the CoverGirl's 4-Kit Eye Color
this is in Country Woods.
To apply, just take the medium tone shade and put it over
the lid and then finish off the eyeshadow with the darker color
on the outer V and blend out into the crease gently.
To finish out the eyes, what I would suggest is skipping
eyeliner completely and just going with just a plain mascara,
usually in a brown.
I would stay away from black unless you're going to a night
look, since that can tend to look a little harsh on the face
with a natural eyeshadow.
One that I really like is the CoverGirl's Lashblast Length
in Very Brown.
Very easy to use, it's got a revolutionary brush
that just coats every single lash and get them sky high,
so that not only are my eyes looking great,
but it's also accentuating my great hair.
