Hello, it's July seventh. Or, if you're a big fan of numbers, you would call it 7-7.
You know what this is, right? A box of Krispy Kremes; everybody knows what that is. Mmmmm.
Do you know what this is? This is a can of Cheerwine soda, which is a cherry soda from
North Carolina. A delicious treat / a regional treat in the Carolinas, where I used to live.
I'm a big fan! Well, today I have in my hands, Krispy Kreme, Cheerwine flavored Krispy Kremes.
You'll notice that there are three missing from this dozen because I gave three to the
family who brought them for me from North Carolina. I live in Lexington Kentucky; there's
no way I could have gotten these without that family. So, I said, "hey, you can have three
of my dozen." And now I'm left with nine, and for you, I will taste and review the first
ever Cheerwine Krispy Kreme donut in Brett world. OK, here we go. So excited! You might
not be able to tell but the filling is pink, instead of white. Normally, if you get a Krispy
Kreme filled donut, chocolate-covered creme-filled, it would be white. This is pink because, obviously,
cherry soda. Here we go.
Imagine that! It tastes like Cheerwine, oh my goodness. Mmmm. Mmmm. Mmmm! You know what
would make this even better... I have a little bowl here, a little Tupperware bowl, I'm going
to -- oo! -- pour some Cheerwine into the bowl, dip my Cheerwine Krispy Kreme donut
into the Cheerwine, mmm, yeah, it's Cheerwine squared. Mmmm. I'm making a mess. It's like heaven
for me, it's like a birthday party. Look at all that Cheerwine filling! Fantastic. I have
nine of these to enjoy. Actually, that's not true. But we'll talk about that later. Mmmmm.
Are you jealous?
