if you're dealing with the cold and the snow, it seems to really start settling in. Some
Loyola University doctors have dubbed it Blue Mondays, but you may have also heard of it
as Seasonal Affective Disorder. These experts say light affects the brain, so energy and
mood can nosedive --

during the short days of the season. Light therapy, including some special lamps, can
be used to treat extreme cases. Otherwise, get whatever natural light you can. If you
don't mind the cold, head outside. Otherwise, open your drapes or your blinds and enjoy
