Now, we're here at the Firehouse Car Wash in Detail Center, and I'm Dowell. In our previous
segments we we're talking about the tools that we need. One of the critical tools to
detailing the interior of your car is a vacuum, a good vacuum a strong suction, and that vacuum's
going to have different kind of tools. We're going to have a claw, we're going to have
a crevice tool, we're going to have, and then we're also going to have, and then the claw
I'm talking about looks like this. This is noisy so I'll put my hand over it. This allows
us to clean broad areas, seats, carpets, critical to be able to do this. We use a central vac
system. It's got so much power, it will almost pull the carpets right off the floorboards,
but this is important as well as the crevice tool which I'm going to show you one of those
in just a second. Would you grab me one of those please? We also, not a vacuum but the
opposite, and strangely enough it's compressed air. Compressed air is one of the greatest
cleaning tools. Not only does it go into places you can't reach with a brush or a vacuum,
it loosens dirt, so it's not a vacuum, but we move dirt around the car and out of hard
to reach places so we can either wipe it up later or we can vacuum it up. One of the other
important tools to have available not only when your vacuuming the claw but is the crevice
tool. This crevice tool allows to get into tight hard to reach places, you know, like
between the front seats and such. So, we're going to use all of these tools an we'll show
you how to do it in future segments.
