Pono Consultants International is a consultancy company.
We work at that sweet spot of innovation and execution.
Working with the organizational culture to optimize the ability for potential and profits,
through communications and executive coaching etcetera.
We have worked in over 11 countries, and we are developing an export strategy
for our services and training products throughout Canada, the US, and the UK.
As a small business owner, in the first few years you have your nose to the grindstone so much,
that you almost don’t even know what exists out there to support you.
So it’s raising your gaze a little bit, to look around.
Right now, with the Trade Commissioner, all of a sudden, I’m even getting these emails and phone calls just saying
“just to give you a heads up, we’re here, we hear you’ve been exporting, what can we do to help that?”
That is so phenomenal, you almost don’t know what to do with it when it first comes.
Just having a Trade Commissioner say “you might want to approach this,
this or this company” means-it feels like it’s more of a warm call.
We’ve had a few instances where we have worked through someone that we made a contact through the Trade Commissioner,
that I quite frankly don’t know how else we would’ve made the contact, without that introduction.
The Trade Commissioner Service is part of our success team, quite frankly.
If we were to go about our export strategy without the TCS,
we would have to do more market intelligence on our own,
which is an investment of time and money that might be bigger than a small company can make, at this time.
It would be a lot more difficult, take a lot more time, and money.
We mitigate the risk of making bad decisions in following through with companies
we have no market intelligence on, simply by making a call to our Trade Commissioner Service.
For those companies like ours, pick up the phone and have the conversations, even if it’s initial conversations.
Consider the Trade Commissioner Services as part of your strategic planning team.
