I'm like a zombie. I wake up and shower... and while I'm in the shower, sometimes I start dancing.
My routine is always---dance salsa while doing something else.
I consider Santiago to be one of the best kids in Cali or in the World, when it comes to salsa dancing.
When he started preschool, the teacher would tell me, "This kid is going to be a star. Look at how he dances!"

INSTRUCTOR: Santiago is 12, and he's already had a career of 6 years.
When people see him, they react, the stand up and applaud.
Because no one would expect this boy on stage to start dancing with such agility and expressiveness.
I wonder what my life would be like if it weren't for salsa dancing.
Through dancing, you leave behind lots of things that do you harm.
You go on the path of art, instead of the path of drugs and problems.
He can buy himself things or do things that we, as parents, can't provide.
For example, he bought himself his own cell phone.
This is the kids' fitting room. They are like my second family. Over there is my dance partner... and my mom (laughs).
Good luck! I hope it goes well--that everything is spectacular!
Thanks! Likewise!
DIRECTOR OF DELIRIO SALSA SHOW: Salsa is in the DNA of the people of Cali. We carry it. We feel it... some by ear, others in their feet.

If you go to a barrio in Cali at midnight--what you're going to hear... is salsa.

Listen to what's good for you... or something like that (laughs).
