-Hello, I'm Andrea Rene, and it's
almost time for the North America LCS playoffs.
But let's take a moment to reflect
on the regular season and some of the more memorable moments,
with the top five games of Spring Split.
Number five-- TSM versus Cloud9.
It took a while, but this clash saw Cloud9 break
through the rough patches that dogged their early season,
beating the also-struggling crowd favorite, TSM.
With this win, C9 raised rank, and repositioned themselves
as a top team.
Number four-- INT versus CLG.
Immortals finally got a battle scar,
with CLG executing their sublime four-one split push.
Darshan owned the map and ultimately owned Immortals.
Number three-- TSM versus NRG.
Exemplifying TSM's problems this season,
this match came down to one thing:
who could team fight better?
As it turns out, TSM's strategy in fights
leaves much to be desired, as they threw away a sure win
with blown brawls late in the game.
Number two-- FOX versus DIG.
Harken back to the old days with a new world record or two.
They might not be playoff contenders,
but Echo Fox and Dignitas offered an insane exhibition,
with Froggen claiming the highest CS in history.
Number one-- INT versus TIP.
It didn't take long for the newly formed Immortals
to impress, landing a perfect game against Team Impulse.
With a roster that includes foreign talent Huni
and Reignover, Immortals is proof that a bunch of outcasts
can come together to form an unstoppable Voltron.
It was an exciting season with new blood, historical moments,
and some new twists on old Meta.
