Hi everybody and welcome
for a new video
of Jus en Folie !
Welcome under the Sun of St Maarten
and to Mandy
who's gonna show us a new recipe! The Joint Juice!
Hello Laureen! Hello Mandy!
Which ingredients we gonna use today?
We gonna have about quarter of celery root
4 carrots
2 pineapple slices
and a piece of turmeric
Could you tell us more about their benefits?
I'm using the celery root rich in minerals
especially in iodine that will help
retain the nutrients inside the body
We have then the carrot!
on top of making you a nicer person(translated from a french saying ;))
have antioxidant benefits and help the digestion
I'm using the pineapple for its anti inflammatory benefits
Its active ingredient the bromelain
will help relieving arthritis pain
What am I forgetting Laureen!
The Turmeric!
Very powerful anti inflammatory
to put absolutely in all your juices!
Let's start it!
I'm putting the celery root first
Mandy could you tell us more
about the way
you've been preparing
your veggies?
As you can see
I kept the celery root and carrot skin
but I brushed it
with a special brush with coco hair
coco hair are very hard
and will remove the dirt
and pesticides eventual residual
that are on top of the surface of the veggies
while keeping the very important nutrients
that are right under the skin
I'm gonna help you Laureen
we continuing here with the carrots
you can see the juice coming out
It smells so good!
one more carrot
we gonna mix with some pineapple
go ahead Laureen
I like to alternate
my fruits
and veggies
to extract the maximum of the juice
I put the turmeric root in the middle
and finishing with the celery root
Voila!
(together hihi)
the rest of the carrot
you can see that I put their leaves
and root as well
you can really put everything
to get the totality of the nutrients!
Of your veggies
I like to finish the juice
with the fruits
that are generally more juicy
and clean the inside machine
the get the most of all your veggies
Last carrot
and pineapple
I want to insist on the fact
that if you can
it's very important
to buy your products locally
the nutritive qualities and taste
are so much better!
And now my favorite part
The degustation!
Let's try this juice Laureen!
It has a very nice orange color
Voila! Thanks!
Cheers!
Humm very sweet and tasty!
So I'm drinking some more !
