You'd think eating three of these would give you brain freeze.
Hello YouTube and welcome to my hairy (movie) review of The World's End by Simon Pegg and Nick Frost.
Finally, Nick Frost and Simon Pegg return in the third film in the "Cornetto Trilogy" - The World's End
Twenty years ago Gary King used to be the linchpin of him
and his group of friends.
He used to lead them into deborturous situations, were they would drink too much
alcohol, cant remember the name, pass
out, or he'd go off and *** like one of their sisters in the disabled toilets
just for fun and giggles.
One day he dared his friends to do "The Golden MIle" which is 12 pubs in one night, 12 points!
Unfortunately, they only made it to pub 10 the first time round
slowly losing their friends along the way.
20 years on and Gary's still the same man and he stuck in that day, wearing the same clothes,
loving the same music,
exactly the same car, he's even on the tape he's mate made for him.
This is when Gary decides to get the band back together and do the pub crawl,
all 12 pubs like you're supposed to. Just to make his life a little more
complete.
Unfortunately, he bites off a little more than he can chew, when they come across
"robots with blue stuff inside them". So who's in this film? We've obviously got Simon
Pegg,
Simon Pegg's more recently been in Star Trek (& Into Darkness)
and obviously started off in Spaced with Nick Frost. Nick Frost is also in this film.
along with Pierce Brosnan, ironically is the the bad guy
and you've got Martin Freeman. Martin Freeman also been around for a farewell
but he
is more commonly known as up Bilbo Baggins
in the recent Hobbit movie. So what did I think of this movie?
At the end of the day, I love it!. I love the little fan touches touches
you know, the dropping in of the Cornettos, the slot machine, the trying to jump
over a fence.
All those little kind of hints from Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz
I love Simon Pegg and Nick Frost they're genius'. I I really like the the English
element to them as well. It's nice to have a the human touch that isnt
American and isnt
an American twist on all Brits being evil.
It's a good film certainly worth going to watch.
you know cinemas now-a-days can be quite expensive
expensive but take your friends along and you'll absolutely love it. I went with a couple
mates and we was chuckling all the way along and pointing out all the little jokes
and all the little in things, its brilliant you'll absolutely love it. love it
So what do you think of this movie? Do you think you could go on a pub crawl and drink
12 points in one night? Do you love the Cornetto's more than anything else?
Have you spotted the four Cornetto's that i've hidden in this video?? Have you not? hmmm
