I need some Bryant furnace troubleshooting help.
You have come to the right place. I can help you out.
You may want to make sure that your registers are open, and that nothing is restricting
the air low from the furnace.
Make sure that your thermostat is adjusted correctly. It has to be set higher than the
indoor temperature, or the furnace will never click on.
Yes, I am on top of all the basic stuff. I am a smart cookie.
I know you are, I never doubted it.
What else can I do? The holidays are here, and I need to feed the kitty, and not spend
it getting the furnace fixed.
Well another possibility, is to check to make sure that the fuse is on, and not burnt out.
Another thing that you can do, is to make sure that the electronic ignition is positioned
correctly. It should be positioned to lock out.
OK, those are some good things to check.
You might also check, to make sure that there are no cracks in the electronic ignition.
Even small cracks can cause problems with the operation of your furnace.
OK once I can locate the ignition, I will make sure it is not cracked.
Also make sure that both your flame sensor, and your furnace filter are clean. If these
are dirty, they can keep your furnace from operating properly.
Check the electrical volts, and make sure that they are not more than 120 volt.
I will do so. How did you get so smart anyway?
I have a long history with Bryant Furnace troubleshooting.
If you save me money on a repairman, I will buy you a nice gift this year, and not just
a hunk of coal!
