"Graffiti Art: Flaring for Shadowing
My name is Paes164 and I'm a professional artist. I've been painting since a teenager,
and I've been doing it for 20 years now. Find me at Paes164.com (p-a-e-s-164.com) My Facebook
is facebook.com/paes_art. It's all about the angle of your tip. Right down here, and spray a golden type glow around
that purple. Might have to come back later and cut into it to crispen it up. But unlike
spraying it straight on, totally at an angle, almost kinda right at your finger, almost
to the wall. So that the spray that fans out, fans down and against the wall. Come in, maybe
even a little slower, so you get enough paint, and you see a nice fade. Kinda dust over it
a little bit, help that a little bit out. And back to cutting. You want a clean cut,
it will take care of all that. That's a good fade right there. A lot of times, fading and
stuff, it's good for just writing your name in tags. It's all about your wrist movement.
It's just locking that wrist, and popping it up and down, and not using your arm to
complete the letter. So we're just gonna take it in a tag, and keep our wrist locked up.
Just a little outline tip...just fade it up. Say, if you wanted to create a nice little
glow of a star, sparkling off your piece, maybe come out, fade that little circle. iii
about that far away from the wall, and just whip it away, whip it away. Your arm is definitely
gonna continue making a motion past the point of your spray. So, get that done, maybe a
little spray in front. Another good flaring technique for your graffiti piece. And, you
know, just like your different colors that you want to build up and stuff. When it comes
to flaring, keep it in the area that you need it. And if you're gonna overlap something,
make sure it's in an area of the piece that you can overlap. And come back and cut into
it fixed, without having to repair the whole piece. So there you have it, there's some
graffiti how to's. Thank you. Howcast, and I'm Paes 164. Peace Out. "
