'Bak Kwa' & Mandarin Orange Salad with Nuts & 'Yu Sheng' Dressing
Part 1: Dressing
Add to Mixing Bowl, 2 Tablespoons of Honey
2 Tablespoons of Sesame Oil
3 Tablespoons of Plum Sauce
A Pinch of 5 Spice Powder
Pour 150ml of Salad Oil into Mixture
Mix to form an emulsion
Season with Sugar
Salt
Pepper
Mix till emulsion is even
Grind Peanuts till they become finely textured
Part 2: Salad
Peel 2 Mandarin Oranges into wedges
Peel and slice 50g of Carrots into thin strips
Slice 100g of 'Bak Kwa' into small squares
Final Presentation: Arrange Salad onto the plate
Place Sliced Carrots on top of salad
Add Chopped 'Bak Kwa'
Top if off with Mandarin Oranges
Upon serving, garnish with Sea Salt
