Why did you write "The Truth About Lawyer Advertising?" You know I've been practicing
for almost about thirty years and a lot of the advertising you see on TV is pretty, if
not misleading, it's pretty disgusting. It's all about gory accident scenes and fistfuls
of cash and all of that stuff. So from the consumer standpoint, if they need a lawyer,
there isn't a good way to figure out who's a good lawyer and who isn't. So I wrote the
truth about lawyer advertising really as a good, useful consumer guide. It's got the
questions to ask. It's got the websites to go to visit for some objective ratings of
lawyers. It tells you what certifications you should look for, what sort of track record
you should look for, and really thousands of people around the country have used the
book they've downloaded it or we've sent them a hardcopy for free, and the find it very
useful in finding the right lawyer for their case.
