hi I'm Peg from Sony and I'm here to show you how to take great panoramic photos
a lot of our customers have asked us how to do this so I'm going to show you
some tips and tricks
for my demonstration I'm using the DSC-TX10
each camera is slightly different so be sure to check the owner's manual or
visit us at esupport.Sony.com for your specific features and menu options
before we get started make sure you exit easy mode
first select the mode icon
choose panoramic shooting scene
you have a choice to take either iSweep panorama mode
or underwater iSweep panoramic
I'm going to choose the iSweep panoramic mode
the camera has four different directions for taking panoramic photos
left to right
right to left
top moving down
and bottom moving up
it is very important that you sweep in an arc and with a steady movement
keep your arms tight to your sides and pan the camera horizontally at a
consistent speed
press the shutter button and hold it down
moving in the direction of the arrows on the display
the camera will show you where to go and when to stop
here is our beautiful panoramic picture
keep in mind when taking sweep panorama or 3d sweep panorama images
you have a limited amount of time to move the camera through the range you want to capture
if you don't get to the end of the shooting range in time the remaining
area is recorded as gray
if that happens pan the camera a little faster so that the arrow can reach the
end of the guidance bar within the given time
it's important to know that moving subjects
subjects that are too close to the camera
images such as the sky sandy beaches lawns or images with constant change
such as waterfalls and waves are not the best subjects for panoramic photos
