Now we're going to go over sixteenth rests, and they're seen down here. It looks like
one of those sevens again but with another line in there, so like this, boom boom. That's
a sixteenth rest. And it gets one-fourth a beat, so this is one E and-a, so that's on
the "a" right, this gets on and the E because this is a quarter note, this gets the and,
and this gets the "a." One E and-a, one E and-a, one E and-a, one E and-a. So we have
boom bah bah, bah bah. So notice it's silent on the second one.
One E and-a four and, one, two and three and four and, one and a two E and-a, three, and
a four E and-a, one and a two E and-a, three, and a four E and-a. So that's how you count
those rhythms. And
then we go into our next measure, which we'll go over in just a minute.
