Full-frame digital SLR cameras allow you to take great photos
For example, such cameras as Canon EOS 6D and Canon 5D Mark III.
Today we'll compare them and find out what each of these cameras is capable of.
Hello, this is Digital TV and I'm Nadezhda Bakharova
These cameras both come from the same family, but compared to his elder brother 6D is much more compact and weighs less.
All of the main buttons are placed on the right side of the back panel while 5D Mark III has them near both sides of the display.
You can move the focus point in 5D with the circular joystick and with the 8-position navipad in 6D.
It's more common that using the joystick is more comfortable.
5D Mark III is more thoughtful and protected like an elder brother should be. It's sealed, so the rain and snow don't scare him at all.
Despite having a dust/weather sealed body, 6D has a thinner top plastic panel due to requirements of the WiFi and GPS modules which are built in the body of the camera.
By the way, the presence of these two features is the main advantage of the more modern 6D.
Basically you can take photos while lying on a couch using a special app and send them off to the Internet right away.
The elder Mark III has more sophisticated focusing system: 61 focus points and 41 cross type focusing points.
Meanwhile the 6D does it in a more simple way. It has 11 focus points while having only one cross type focusing point.
The owners of the 5D are granted with a much wider variety of focusing areas. Also the 5D allows to take 6 frames per second while the 6D can do only 4.5 fps.
Both cameras have a display with a resolution of 1 040 000 dots.
They both record FullHD video, but only Canon 5D has a headphone jack.
Please write which camera you like best in the comments.
See you soon!
These cameras appear to be in the same weight category, but if you like to count gramms and millimeters, you'll notice that Canon is slightly lighter and smaller.
The texture is quite similar on both of the cameras. The bodies are made of magnesium alloy and polycarbonate.
When you look at the basic features , Nikon makes a huge leap in front of Canon.
