some people love their cars
and others love their trucks
with its designation as a bicycle friendly community
Fayetteville makes it easy to love another form of transportation
over the years, since i've been here in Fayetteville the trail system's gotten better
and this city structure is set up very easily to cycle around campus
and cycle around Fayetteville
The city offers a comprehensive system of natural and urban trails
that makes commuting around Fayetteville safe, fun
and efficient
cycling is a great way to save money and reduce carbon emissions for pursuing an
active lifestyle
cycling can be easy
the first thing you'll need is a bike
you can purchase a bike new from a local retailer or used from someone in your
community
you can also rent one from the Outdoor Connections Center
you'll also need safety equipment
a helmet
and appropriate lighting if you plan to ride at night
as well as a small dosage of bicycle ethics
using appropriate etiquette while riding around town and being courteous to other
pedestrians, drivers and fellow cyclist
when you ride through campus on the sidewalks you also have to be very careful not to
run into pedestrians
and to go
only slightly faster than the pedestrians
so that i can warn them when i'm coming up behind them and safely go around them
so I don't run the risk of running into anyone
It's pretty convenient, you can sleep as much as you want
and in just two minutes
you'll be
near old main where you have to be
I think bicycling is going to help
somebody like students especially. You can save time
to focus more on classes and school
The trail system in Fayetteville is great. It's growing
and it really makes the entire city accessible for anyone and if you don't
have a car
you can also mix and match your commuting experience
by putting your bike on a bus bike rake while you ride it around town
if you like the experience of riding a bike around Fayetteville, share with others
if you don't like it.... WELL
i don't see any reason you wouldn't
the master plan if you look at that has a lot of trail planned in the near
future
and i think it's exciting time too
be a cyclist in Fayetteville
