Do you trust your higher Power to help you in situations where you've done everything
that you could. But, there is certain things you can't control and that you don't have
power over. And you've asked for help. Are there situations in your life where you find
it hard to trust a True Power- a higher power or God? Has your higher power, your true power-
have they shown themselves over and over again to be trustworthy- giving you miracles upon
miracles but you still don't find it easy to trust? This is a common problem in spirituality
where the True Power or God has helps people and people receive miracles over and over
again. But they still find it very difficult to have faith in their true power. Think of
it like this. If you had a friend or a parent who always showed themselves, or most always,
came through for you- and those times that they didn't come through for you- they probably
had a good reason- but they made sure that you were taken care of. They helped you when
you were at your wits end or did all you could do and they helped you. But you still doubted
them. Do you think that their feelings would be hurt? Well, of course they would. Not that
your true power's feeling would be hurt by you not believing in them. But it hurts - it's
not logical to continue to doubt where trust is deserved. As we get older spiritually we
stop needing for our true power to continually prove themselves to us before we give up our
doubt. This is a sign of spiritual maturity or maturing. When we're spiritual babes we
need lots of assurance that we can go away from our parents. Just like an earthly parent
(family), the babe needs lot of assurance. So as spiritual babes we also need lots of
assurance our true power or God or higher self will help us out when we need it. The
mark of the maturing spiritual adult is that they no longer need all of that assurance.
But they then take the torch of their higher power and their like say basically, " I am
going to not doubt this time." They are the torch bearer. They kind of stick their stake
in the ground and say, " I am not going to doubt anymore. I'm done. My True Power deserves
better than this -than my lack of trust."As any good friend and Great Companion would-
they deserve your trust. And I just encourage you to start thinking about it more in those
terms. On the other hand, if you feel that you True Power has let you down, maybe you
don't understand your role with your Higher Self, or God or your True Power. Maybe you
don't understand the reasons didn't work out when you asked. If that's the case then I
encourage you to do more research on how your True Power works. If you would like more information
on the topic you can go to LydiaScott.com or watch some more of these videos. And I
try to describe some of these fairly simple ways in which we can understand our Higher
Self or True Power and how it works. Have a great day and a great life.
