This is Ray McKenzie of Johnston's Clothier. Today we're going to be discussing the pocket
square, pocket silk. And, the fold I'm wearing today is called the James Bond, the Presidential.
It's supposed to be very elegant suit pocket square. As far as the various folding a pocket
square is concerned, you want to use a cotton or a linen fabric with this type. Pocket squares
have been dismissed as being trendy or rather twee if you will, however it is an opportunity
to bring your styling up a notch. It's also a way for you to enhanced your style and make
it more personalized toward yourself. The JFK: This fold is done with a linen pocket
square. There are various ways you can take it up, a little higher if you wish or pull
it down to wear it is more stealth-like, if you will. Looking very elegant. The CHURCHILL:
As you can see, it is intended on being disheveled, as we see it here. Simply take the square,
a silk pocket square, and place it in the pocket. The next fold we have is the Astaire,
after Fred Astaire. You'll notice how we are mixing the colors and patterns. Next we have
the combination of pocket square styles - a Churchill and an Astaire. And we can see how
a pocket square is going to make a statement in the absence of a neck tie... and take a
casual, a very casual outfit and make it elegant. We have demonstrated the very basics of pocket
