>>ANTHONY: And the our seventh henna is black.
It's very black, it's really dark.
A lot of women that have black hair, dark hair
use a dark brown and they're very happy with the dark brown.
They don't need to go into the black.
The black again is a mixture like the red.
You can take of a pinch of the black
into your coloring to give it some depth,
which is nice. You're not going to get this
look of just medium brown.
You're going to have chestnut highlights.
You're going to have some depth.
You're going to have some darkness, some lightness.
Then all the different shades because our hair is
not one color like paint.
>>LAURELLE: Oh no.
>>ANTHONY: No, our hair has hundreds of different shades
and gradations of colors. And the henna is going to
compliment all those gradations.
To give you a natural effect.
>>LAURELLE: And of course people of color will probably want
to use a little bit more of the darkest shade
so they can maintain their deep, rich color.
>>ANTHONY: Yes.
>>LAURELLE: To their hair as they age and maybe want
to cover up the gray temporarily. And the best thing about this
is that if you decide later on. Well, I'm going to be brave
and be silver.
Because it fades naturally and there's no color line,
in about, what is it, about eight to twelve weeks
>>ANTHONY: Yeah.
>>LAURELLE: It'll start to fade.
>>ANTHONY: Yes.
>>LAURELLE: And then you can let it go and you can see where you're at
with your silver, if it's coming in beautifully.
And if not, you can go back to it. But you don't have that
ugly color line, that tell-tale line.
>>ANTHONY: Yeah the chemical colors. It's like painting,
you just paint a line and when it grows out, there's this line right there.
This is gray. This is color.
>>LAURELLE: You never have to worry about that.
>>ANTHONY: With henna.
>>LAURELLE: With this product.
>>ANTHONY: With any of the shades of henna.
It's very gradual.
>>LAURELLE: It's great.
I'm so glad that...I'm so glad that you encouraged me
to do this, to take this step.
And one of these days I'm going to let it go
and I'm hoping to have beautiful silver hair like yours.
>>ANTHONY: Yep.
