Feel bad about not voting this year? When one Arizona man’s wife found out he failed
to make it to the polls, she put him in the hospital. KNXV reports...
“It started with a shouting match, and then Holly Solomon got in her car and tried to
run over her husband as he hid behind light poles for safety.”
Mrs. Solomon blamed her husband, Daniel, for Obama’s reelection, and told police she
“believed her family was going to have hardship” under Obama. The 28-year-old is six months
pregnant and police don’t believe her to have been under the influence of drugs or
alcohol. “She lost control and ran him over according
to police. Pinning him under her Jeep and a curb”
In the public parking lot, several witnesses saw the incident and dialed 911.
“911 where’s your emergency?” “um yes, this woman just ran down her boyfriend
or husband in the parking lot here in Gilbert. We saw it it. Yeah, she ran him down.”
Every vote counts, right? Gawker points out Romney didn’t need much help in Arizona,
though. “Daniel's presidential preference likely
wouldn't have mattered much to Romney: He won Arizona by a margin of some 200,000 votes.”
Mr. Solomon was rushed to the hospital with internal bleeding and a broken pelvis, and
his wife has been charged with assault with a deadly weapon.
