>> AMY MORSE: A two to three percent increase over prior year is excellent. We've achieved
a 10 percent increase in our quietness and cleanliness and in our overall rating for
the hospital, which is unbelievable.
Our responsiveness has increased 9 percent over the year before, which is really significant.
We've actually improved in every single area over this past year.

Our goal from a hospital perspective is that by 2015, we'll be in the ninetieth percentile
compared to all other hospitals in the nation that participate in this NRC survey.
The staff that come here no matter what position they have they want our patients to feel good,
they want our patients to feel happy.
>> MARY: I'm Mary. I'm the housekeeper on the unit today.
Environmental services does regular rounds. They have come up with some scripting some
ways to talk to patients to measure they're asking them whether or not they feel like
their room is clean.
>> DR. METTE: Hi. I'm Dr. Mette. Stephen Mette.
>> AMY: The physicians have also improved in their communications with patients as well
as nurses.

I have just been so impressed and I'm so proud to work here.
We have some really high targets to make next year in order to reach our 90th percentile
in 2015, and I feel really positive that we have the right people here and that they're
excited and motivated and just always want to do the best they can for the patients.
