Quang: My job title is a Service Clerk that
I have to keep the place nice and clean
so that the customer could see
that they get the thing they wanted and they see everything in its proper place.
I get to know more of the stuff around here
help make the company, Walgreen's store.
I do my best at all time
and say that I won't do anything silly.
Joel: Quang is doing great at his job,
he takes care of all the sales for all the aisles.
He faces, he pulls all the items forward after the aisles have been shopped.
From day one, Quang has been trained well and he's continued to perform well at his job.
I hired Quang because of his persistence and determination
from his application until when he came in and spoke to me in person I
could tell he was very...he really wanted the job and I
could see his determination just from him coming in so I knew that
if I've hired him that would be a great characteristic to have,
a great employee to have.
Quang: Triangle helped me build my resume.
I got help from my Job Coach.
I went through a bunch of practice,
I learned how to sign the paper properly
and learned how to talk to the person in an interview.
No negative talk, of course.
Quang is a great asset to the company,
he comes to work 10-15 minutes early every day,
he comes and he performs his tasks a hundred percent.
Walgreen's is very commited to people with disabilites on a store level like we have Quang here.
On a larger scale, we have a warehouse that was designed to accommodate
people with disabilities that was bulit in Anderson, South Carolina
and forty percent of the 700 employees there are people with disabilities.
And if fact, the Anderson Warehouse,
it turned out to be twenty percent more efficient than most of the Walgreen's Warehouses.
The best thing that I could do is to ask them to meet them in person.
Better then just to send them an email letter or a paper.
