This video shows the several springs in the urban and rural parts of the territory of Pesco Sannita.
The Tammaro River.
A view of the limpid waters of the river, always an important water resource for local agriculture and for other social uses.
Fountain in Via Cappella.
This is the fountain in Via Cappella, which lies only a few meters from the church of Our Lady of the Arch,
in the higher part of town. It continuously gushes out water driven upward by high pressure.
At a short distance from town is the Fontana Carpinelli,
a drinkable water fountain in the like-named locality.
The structure was built by the Orlando administration in the 1940s.
It is fitted with a basin to allow the locals to water their animals at the fountain, as well as for their own every-day use.
It was recently renovated with the addition of a red-brick plaza allowing visitors to comfortably access the fountain.
The Antica Fontana, built of stone, lies in the locality of Monteleone.
The image shows this old structure, made of local stone. It is simply built, with an arched fountainhead above a rectangular basin.
This fountain is part of the local historical and cultural heritage, as it lies at the foot of a hill where the ruins of a feudal castle are found.
The Sulfur Water Park.
The images show the Pratola woods, deep in the unspoiled green of the Tammaro River.
In these woods sulfur water at 13° C gushes out, containing carbon dioxide, carbonate, and calcium silicate.
In 1949, the Orlando administration commissioned the building of a monumental stone fountain to allow people to draw water from the spring.
This video highlights the luxuriant and uncontaminated nature of the Sulfur Water Park.
This natural reserve is equipped with a picnic area with wooden tables and benches, and stone barbecues.
Several paths for hikers or horse riders allow visitors to spend healthy time in the open.
This is the Cold Water Fountain, also known as Hermit Springs, because it lies on Via dell'Eremita.
It is built of stone blocks on a short slope.
Making your way through our cool and intact vegetation,
come and enjoy our salutary springs!
