Hi this is Robert Stewart with Hill13.com. Now we're going to look back at the game board
and we're going to talk about a little bit of tactics and a little bit of conceptual
understanding of how to play this game when you have limited ammunition. Now, the key
thing to do or to remember when you're trying to defend your flag is to measure you're paint.
You have twenty one shots, you have thirty minutes you have to survive with this flag
in place. So, independent of what the attacker is doing at that moment, anyone you position
to defend the flag must be able to maintain their fire discipline and only fire on an
opponent when they either have a clear shot or when they absolutely have to keep the other
team's fire suppressed and keep them in position so that the runner and the mid-field players
can move into position to take the opposing force's flag. One thing to remember is, is
that as you move out, if you don't maintain good communication, if you don't report the
enemy's movements to your other players, they might walk into a situation where, let’s
say the runner and the mid players for the red team are going in this direction. This
guy actually sees the green team moving in this position and doesn't call out to his
mid-field player as they're making their move, the mid-field player could walk into a position
where he gets shot and he's thus eliminated. Whatever balls that are in his hopper are
now gone. Now, if you're only three players to three players, we literally only have forty-two
paint balls in the game. So it really is about maintaining an aggressive movement across
the field to get to them, hopefully make them waste paint, and hold your fire as often as
possible until the last moment.
