Photoshop’s Zoomify feature allows users to upload full resolution images as fast as a regular JPEG.
To practice using Zoomify go ahead and open data file zoomify.psd
Afterwards click on the File menu.
Scroll down to Export and select Zoomify.
In the Zoomify dialog box next to Template click on the drop-down arrow and select the desired template from the list.
For us we will be selecting Zoomify Viewer with Navigator with a black background.
To set the output location, click on the Folder button underneath where it says Output Location.
In the Browse for Folder dialog box select the Desktop as the output location.
When finished click on the OK button.
Under Image Tile Options we want to change the quality to a larger size
And so click and drag the slider towards the large file area.
Or you can type in 11 or 12 in the Quality text box.
When finished go ahead and click on the OK button.
Minimize Photoshop by clicking on the Minimize button.
On the desktop you should find the exported files.
Go ahead and double-click on the zoomify.html file.
Your zoomify HTML file should open up in an internet browser such as Internet Explorer.
Once it does locate and click on the Slider bar on the very bottom of the image.
Drag it to the right to see more detailed close up view of the image
In the thumbnail of the image you’ll see a small blue box
which corresponds to the area that is being shown in the Preview window.
If you click and drag on it you can move the location of what you’re viewing in terms of the image.
You can zoom back out by clicking on the Zoom slider and dragging it to the left.
