On this video we will show the main capabilities of PDFe
First, we are going to create a new PDF file from images
For that, we have to add images to the PDF file
We can pick pictures stored in the phone or taken with the camera
In both cases, each picture will be a page in the final PDF file.
We are taking a picture of an European Accident Statement filled and signed as an example
and we will add the picture of an accident to send the PDF and the images to the insurance company.
Once the picture is taken, it can be retaken or added to the PDF preview.
On this screen, we can add, delete and reorder the pages of the PDF file that will be created.
Now, we will add a picture of the accident that is stored in the phone.
Once we have finished the composition of the PDF, we tap on the Done button
And we will be asked for a name for the document and the PDF file.
The PDF file can be copied from the phone through iTunes File Sharing.
When the processing finishes, the final PDF will appear on screen.
For several pages, the application can be send to background and it will notify us when finishes.
Tapping on the Load documents button, will show us a list of the saved documents.
As we can see, the latest saved document appears the first in the list.
Tapping on a document will allow us to load the PDF, see the images or send an email with the PDF and/or the images.
The image preview let us browse all the images of the PDF.
Finally, we are going to add a cover to our saved document and send it by email.
First, we pick the documents we want to combine
and, by tapping on the combine button, we access to the edition screen
where we can edit the final composition of the PDF file.
The number of pages is currently limited to 30, due performance issues.
By tapping on the bottom right button, we can send the document by email.
We see that all the three images and the PDF file are correctly attached.
When we tap on the send button, we will be able to pick the size of the images attached.
